The Gypframe SIF4 Floor Channel is an insulated metal 'top-hat' channel that reduces impact noise through timber separating floors.The constant noise of footsteps from above can be a nightmare in flats and apartments. This channel helps prevent it by isolating the upstairs walking surface from the main floor structure.A key component of the GypFloor Silent system, the channels are simply laid on top of 64mm to 75mm wide timber joists before the walking surface is fitted.
